About Me
I’ve always had an affinity for tiny things: from my very first doll’s house as a child to a collection of petite curios from my travels, my eye is constantly drawn to the tiniest of treasures. It seems inevitable, therefore, that I should choose to paint on a small scale. I grew up on a farm in a little village in Essex, but put down roots in rural East Sussex almost thirty years ago.
Many of my miniature paintings reflect the beauty of the changing seasons here in Sussex or further afield: from wintry carpets of the first snowdrops, to spring woodlands bursting with bluebells; from azure seascapes and the golden cornfields of summer, to the rusty ochres and bronzed hues of autumn leaves.
I try to capture all the little details as accurately as I can for commissions - be they landscapes, seascapes, gardens, florals, or the occasional home. It’s a real privilege to be entrusted to translate a favourite photograph into what I hope will become a treasured original artwork…a delicate world, small enough to hold in your hand.

I paint my miniatures in acrylics on handmade, deckled edge, recycled cotton rag paper 150gsm (approx 8cm x 5.5cm), either using my own photos for reference or accepting commissions.
